Connect your modem to the
Ethernet port on your Netgear WiFi router using an Ethernet
cable/wire.

router. Let the LED lights on your device become solid green.
Open your preferred web browser
and enter routerlogin.net
in its address bar. In order to avoid routerlogin.net not working
issue, do not type the web address in the search bar of the internet
browser.
You will be prompted to access
the Netgear router login page.
Enter the default username and
password. If you have earlier customized the username and password of
your Netgear WiFi router, then use it .
Select
the 'Advanced' and then, the 'Setup Wizard' option.
Click on Yes radio button and
select Next.

automatically detect the type of internet connection you are using.
A
Router login window appears.
Enter and confirm a new,
unique, and strong admin password.
Select and answer a couple of
security questions.
