According to Apple, there are 100 million active Mac users.
If you're one of those users, you might be wondering how to get the most out of your computer.
Thankfully, we have all kinds of helpful Mac tricks to teach you, so make sure you keep reading!
1. Take Screenshots
While you're probably used to taking screenshots on your phone, you can do the same thing on your computer as well.
Whether you want to take a picture of the whole screen or just a portion, all you have to do is use some keyboard shortcuts.
You can press Command, Shift, and then 3. This will take a picture of the entire screen. If you only want to take a portion, you can press Command, Shift, and then 4.
When you've taken a screenshot, the computer will store it on the desktop.
2. Unlock Mac With Apple Watch
If you don't want to type your Apple password in every time, you can just use your Watch to unlock it.
To set it up, you have to go into System Preferences and then go to Security and Privacy. From there, you can toggle Unlock Mac with Apple Watch.
For it to work, you have to have a password on your Apple Watch and be wearing it near your computer.
3. Rename Batch Files
Renaming files can take forever, but thankfully you can rename them all at once. If you're running a Mac with the Yosemite version or later, you can do it with one quick thing.
You can select the files that you want to rename and the Control-Click. Then you'll see an option to rename them. You'll have three options, and you can choose to replace the text and have them renamed in sequence.

4. Use Siri
Siri is also available on Mac, and she's the best virtual assistant to help your workflow. To run her, all you need to do is tap on the icon in the bottom right-hand corner of your screen.
When you've launched Siri, you can then ask her questions or make a request. For example, you can ask her to make the screen brighter, tell you the weather, or find a folder for you.
As you use her more often, she'll learn about your habits, and then she'll learn how to finish your tasks more efficiently.
5. Switch Between Programs
If you want to easily switch between programs rather than opening a new window, you can press Cmd and tab. This will let you switch between programs that you have open.
But if you have multiple windows open of the same program, you should press Command and the ~ key.
6. Run Windows
Are you someone that loves the look and feel of Mac but loves the Windows operating system? Now you can have the best of both worlds.
It's a very simple process, and all you have to do is go into your Applications folder. From there, click on Utilities. You'll see a program called Boot Camp in there, which will control whether your device is using Windows or Mac.
You can then partition this to install Windows and use your device as a Windows computer. From there, you'll have to hold down the option key and choose which software you want to use each time you turn on your computer.
7. Use Keyboard Hacks
There are also plenty of other keyboard hacks out there that will make it easier to use, and in some cases, leave you not needing your mouse.
You can enable Alternate Mouse Control in the accessibility section in your settings. This will let you enable mouse keys and toggle them on if you want to use them. With this enabled, you'll use the keys to move your mouse.
8. Disconnect From WiFi
If you want to disconnect from WiFi easily, all you have to do is hold the Alt key and click on the WiFi icon in the Mac menu bar.
This will let you see all the normal information you'd usually see when you click on it, but it'll also give you a lot more information about the network you're connected to.
Under there, you should be able to click "Disconnect from WiFi" and automatically be disconnected without having to restart the WiFi.
9. Sign Documents
If you're always getting documents you need to officially sign, the Mac Operating System makes it easy for you to add a digital signature to your documents.
To do this, you just have to open a document in the Preview app. Then click on the icon of the pen. This will let you create a signature in iSight.
To do that, write your signature on a piece of paper and then hold it up to the camera. This will extract your signature and automatically apply it to the document.
10. Make a Delete Key
Not all Mac computers come with a delete key. Instead of navigating to where you want to delete and backspace, you can make your own Delete key.
You just have to hold down the function key and then press backspace. However, you can also try using Control and then pressing D.
