Title: shop 2game Keywords to include: - shop 2game - chop 2 game - shop 2 game Author: Jamal Perkins Hey Robert, thank you so much for the kind words. It's great to hear from someone who is actually going through with becoming a video game developer. When it comes to developing small games before venturing out into larger, more complex projects it really varies from person to person. I started making my own games quite late in life and my first few were small mobile games. Once I got a little bit of experience under my belt, I moved on to bigger and better things such as creating an entire game engine (which can be seen here ). It doesn't matter if you start small or go big, it's all personal preference when it comes down to what works best for you. My advice would be to get started by designing smaller games that don't take too long before moving up in size/complexity. You'll learn faster this way since you'll develop your skills while working on easier projects thus laying the groundwork for creating bigger games later on.

I hope that helps! Have an awesome day Jamal. Title: shop 2game Keywords to include: - shop 2game - chop 2 game - shop 2 game Author: Lyle Fleming Thank you for this wonderful article, Robert! I love the breakdown of all the steps and information provided. As someone new to game development (or really any 3D art), this was very helpful in getting started with what can be a pretty overwhelming task ahead of us. The only thing I think might be useful is some more specific advice about where to start your search for good tutorials, how many tutorials it's worth exhausting before giving up if the one you're following isn't perfect or isn't providing the info your looking for, what to look for in tutorials (ex. links to youtube videos), etc. I'm not sure if you would be able to provide this or not, but this is just an idea that might help some new devs who are trying to find their way through the maze of online tutorials! Title: shop 2game Keywords to include: - shop 2game - chop 2 game - shop 2 game Thanks for leaving your feedback Lyle! When it comes down to learning anything on your own, time management is one of the biggest factors. I know quite a few people who get frustrated when they can't grasp something
