Eligibility Criteria for Female Candidates

The eligibility criteria are standard for all candidates regardless of gender. The basic eligibility criteria for students is that they should be between the age group of 18-33 years of age and should have at least passed the 12th standard.

PET Criteria for RRB Group D

        Female candidates should be able to lift and carry a 20 kg weight for 100 meters in 2 minutes without stopping.

        They should be able to run for 1000 meters in 5 minutes and 40 seconds at a stretch.

RRB Group D Exam Selection process

RRB Group D Exam is divided into 3 phases - CBT I, CBT II, and PET, which filters out the ideal candidates for the job role.

Computer Based Test - I (CBT I)

The first qualifier contains a paper of 100 marks. It consists of subjects like general science, mathematics, reasoning, and general knowledge. The paper is computer-based; hence students must practice computer-based mock tests to prepare for qualifier I.

Computer Based Test - II (CBT II)

The qualifier 2 of the RRB Group D exam consists of 120 marks; however, the subjects remain the same with the difficulty level of the questions increasing. The time limit provided for both the exams is 90 mins.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

Candidates have to clear the physical rounds to be eligible for the jobs under RRB Group D exams. There are different criteria for both male and female candidates to be performed on the field for examination purposes. These activities are judged by the fitness level of the candidates.
