Easter gives us hope; hope to live, love, feel, forgive, and whatnot.
This is why so many people plan their Easter holidays with their families because it’s the best time to visit new places and make memories.
Last week when I downloaded the ‘Easter Parade’ from RARBG, I realized that I hadn’t been out for quite some time now, and especially, I haven’t spent much time with my family this year.
So, as the COVID19 restrictions started pulling away, I thought of taking a trip to a faraway land, cherishing every moment of life on this Earth.
This is the time I started browsing for the best Easter destinations and could not find enough good suggestions, so I thought of sharing my personal recommendation with you
Let’s start:
1: Berlin, Germany
Summer months can witness an ocean of tourists in Berlin, but Spring is comparatively better.
The Easter Knights Festival in Spandau is one of the best events in this country that you must be a part of if you visit Berlin during Easter.
You can enjoy the historic market filled with food stalls, fire spitters, dancers, jugglers, medieval jewelry, and so on.
Since you are in Berlin, you can also check out the other stuff, such as dining in the TV Tower and spending a day in Berlin Bunker like other tourists.
After all, these will cost you much lesser in Spring than the expensive fees in Summertime.
2: Crete, Greece
How can we plan Easter vacation and leave Greece out of the list?
After all, it’s one of the most important holidays in the Grek Orthodox calendar, and Crete Island leaves no stone unturned to make this time of the year a heartfelt moment for all of us to enjoy.
You’ll find the villagers alive and active on Easter Saturday, and if you’re there, you must try the quintessential Greek Easter Delicacy called; Lychnarakia.
On Easter Sunday, friends and families gather to share a table, and it’s a sight you’ll never forget.
3: Malaga, Spain
The Easter procession in Malaga starts 7 days before the actual holiday, and the localities plan many festivities for the whole duration.
Each church in Malaga carries religious statues on its shoulders and leave for the main cathedral in the city. It’s a brotherhood procession that you’ll love witnessing during this time.
The best part of visiting Malaga during Easter is you can watch it for free.
You can always reserve the front row seat to the procession for 60 euros, but people who watch it for free also get a pretty good view of the whole thing.
4: Bologna, Italy
I don’t need an excuse to travel to Italy because it has superb weather, delicious food, and exquisite scenic beauty.
But, during Easter, Bologna becomes an even more beautiful destination for tourists to visit because of its age-old Christian traditions.
You can eat the traditional Colomba, which is the delicious Easter cake for you to relish.
Even though Italians believe in spending time with family during this time of the year, you can always leave your hotel and come out on the street to capture the joyful vibes of people with your camera.
5: Amsterdam, Netherlands
Easter teaches you all about love and hope. So, the best place to visit during Easter is a country where people of all nationalities mix and stay in harmony.
Yup, we are talking about Amsterdam.
The city looks beautiful around this time because flowers bloom early here. So, as you walk on the streets of Amsterdam, you’ll find yourself amazed by the colorful decorations and amazing fragrances of hyacinths and tulips.
Don’t forget to visit the Keukenhof Garden while you’re in there because it is one of the most popular tourist destinations on Easter.

You will not find a list so convincing as this because it includes the top-notch tourist destinations of the world.
More than that, these destinations share their fair contribution of Easter spirit, and if you love this Christian holiday, you should also be in the mood to check these places out.
You may want to bring your family with you because Easter is not the time to celebrate solitude. So, pack your bags, book your tickets, and think of which one of these destinations will you be flying to this Spring.
