Facing Issues While Setup

1.       First, restart your modem before connecting the router.

2.       Perform a power cycle for routers and satellites and setup again.

3.       Check for any fault in the Ethernet cables and LAN ports.

4.       Also check if the Ethernet is properly fitted in the LAN ports or not.

5.       Make sure the setup instructions you see are correct or not.

6.       Ensure that the connection between the main router and satellite is stable.

3.       Clear the cache and corrupted cookies of the browser; sometimes orbi login may not work due to cache and cookies in your browser.

4.       If you are not accessing orbi login in your current browser, then use a different web browser like Microsoft Edge, Firefox, Safari, etc.

5.       Temporary disable antivirus tools and VPN or proxy; this creates an issue while logging in.

1.       First of all, check whether the satellite and router are getting full power connection or not.

2.       Press the sync button of the router first, and within 2 minutes, press the sync button of the satellite.

3.       Check the LED light on the satellite, after complete the sync button:

          Solid blue: Orbi Satellite Solid Blue LED indicates that your router and satellite are 

          connected successfully                                       

          Solid Magenta: When the satellite LED flash magenta, it means the syncing process has

          failed.        

          Solid Amber: If the Amber light blinks, you need to keep the satellite closer to the router.

4.       Make sure there is not any interference between satellite and the router.

 

Reset to Factory Settings


You can reset the Orbi mesh system to default factory settings. Some mesh systems have a reset button, and some have a pinhole for reset. In the Netgear Orbi Mesh devices, use the pinhole to reset. Steps to reset are

1.       Insert the strengthened paper clip into the pinhole and press it for 5-10 seconds.

2.       When the reset process starts, an amber LED flashes on.

3.       It will take a few minutes to reset.

After performing the reset process, you will need to sync satellite to the router again.
