Download And Update the Firmware of Orbi Devices Manually.

Steps to Download the Firmware

  1. First, open the web browser on your computer and visit the Netgear Download Center.
  2. Here, enter your router or satellite serial number into the field and download the new firmware file.
  3. After downloading, save it on the computer and unzip it.

After you download and save the firmware file, you need to upload it on both the admin panel of the router and the satellite.

Upload the Satellite Firmware

  7. After that, click on the upload button; it will take a few minutes to upload the file.
  8. When the processing is complete, your satellite firmware is updated successfully.

You can check the version name of the firmware update by clicking on the Check Status button.

Update the router firmware.

To update the firmware of the router, you must follow almost the same steps that you follow while updating the satellite.

  2. On the home page, click on Advanced > Administration > Firmware Update > Admin Tab.
